Office Administration/Support 

Our office in Grand Island, Nebraska, is looking for a full time office assistant to join our accounting team. Our office is located at 503 West 3rd Street.  This position will assist in providing office administration support for our team and our clients. The position involves assembling reports, tax forms and other documents, receiving inbound calls, scheduling appointments, mail, ordering supplies, updating spreadsheets and correspondence. The ability to remain calm, organized and focused under deadlines is essential. 

Position Requires: 

  • 3+ years experience in an office support environment 
  • Experience with Excel, Word and QuickBooks
  • Works well with clients and is friendly with a pleasant voice 
  • Strong organizational skills and highly skilled in accuracy 
  • Desire to work in public accounting firm
  • Ability to multi-task

Experienced Tax Preparer

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years’ experience being in charge of audits of governmental entities, not-for-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, or audits in accordance with Uniform Guidance preferred. 
  • Experience performing firm wide independent review
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA license or successful completion of the CPA exam
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP, including GASB and FASB regulations. 
  • Individual with a strong desire to learn quickly, accept responsibility, and embrace a fast moving career
  • Strong client rapport and project management skills
  • Ability to service multiple client engagements simultaneously and work necessary hours to meet deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suites, specifically Excel. Experience using Engagement a plus.
  • Verbal and written skills with the emphasis on being able to articulate complex financial information to a variety of clientele
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
